Here are the measurements:
Top to Tail (back of neck to bottom) - 25 inches
Shoulder to shoulder across back - 19 inches
Shoulder to cuff - 24.5 inches
Armpit to cuff - 17 inches
Chest (measured flat on outside) - 22 inches
Suggested size - 14
The manufacturer's label shows the size as UK 14/European size 40. Based on our measurements we think it will fit a chest of around 38 inches.
The jacket comes with removable back, shoulder and elbow/forearm protectors, all held in velcro fastened 'pockets' on the lining. There is also built in padding at the shoulders, elbows/forearms and back of the waist.
The Ashman brand name is displayed at the top of the right sleeve.
There are 2 slanted zipped pockets at the front of the jacket with a further pocket with zip inside.
There are 2 zipped air vents at the front of the shoulders and the leather is perforated for ventilation behind the sleeves.
There is a strap at the neck with velcro and there are adjustable velcro straps with buckles on each side at the waist, where the leather is elasticated.
There are zips on the wrists.
There is a short zip at the back of the waist with which the jacket could be attached to a pair of biker trousers.
All of the zips are good quality YKK zips and all work well. The main zip can be fastened in either of two positions, so you can use the one that fits you best.
The jacket has a breathable black lining.
Excellent overall condition.
Made from genuine cowhide leather by Ashman.
