Here are the measurements:

Top to Tail (back of neck to bottom, inc collar) - 26.5 inches

Shoulder to shoulder across back - 18 inches

Shoulder to cuff - 24 inches

Armpit to cuff - 16.5 inches

Chest (measured flat on outside) - 21.5 inches

Suggested size - 36-38 inches

Based on the measurements above, we think it will fit a chest/bust of around 36-38 inches, depending on the position in which the zip is fastened, approximately equivalent to a UK size 14. The maker's label shows the size as a woman's L (large).

***Important note re sizing - please read. We are experiencing high volumes of returns on women's leathers, invariably because the item purchased is too small for the wearer. Labelled sizes do vary considerably from one brand to another and a lot of leathers do come up small for their labelled size. Please, please don't buy just because the size on the label matches your usual size without first checking that the measurements, particularly the pit to pit, length and our suggested bust size are right for you. Leather obviously doesn't stretch, it's not like buying a t-shirt where you can just buy an approximate size and it will fit. Above all, please make sure that the item is large enough for you before you buy. If in doubt it's best to go a size or two up from your usual size. If it's a little roomy it'll give you the option of wearing an extra layer in winter, if it's too small you won't be able to get it on. Thank you. ***

*There are velcro fastened 'pockets' on the lining containing removable elbow/forearm protectors and a left shoulder protector. Please note that there is some damage to the lining around the right shoulder area (see photos), including to the the pocket for the right shoulder protector, which is now missing. There is a pocket for a back protector (not included). There is some built in light padding at the shoulders, elbows and back of the waist as well.

Adjustable fit (main zip fastens in either of 2 different positions).

There are 4 zipped pockets at the waist - 2 horizontal pockets at the waist with 2 vertical pockets just above them - plus a leather trimmed inside pocket with zip.

There is a strap with 2 stud fasteners at the neck and an adjustable strap with buckle on each side at the waist.

There is a short attachment zip at the back of the waist (to attach the jacket to trousers).

The jacket has a quilted black lining.
