Top to Tail (back of neck to bottom, inc collar) - 28 inches
Shoulder to shoulder across back - 19 inches
Shoulder to cuff - 24 inches
Armpit to cuff - 18 inches
Chest (measured flat on outside) - 21 inches
Suggested size - 38 inches
The maker's label shows the size as 42 inches but as with many items of vintage clothing, its very small for its labelled size in comparison with modern sizing. Please read the measurements carefully to check if it will fit you before you buy, but we think it will fit a chest of around 38 inches.
There is built in light padding at the shoulders & elbows.
There are 3 zipped slanted pockets at the front plus a leather trimmed inside pocket.
There is a strap with 2 stud fasteners at the neck. This can be fastened under the collar if preferred, as pictured.
The jacket has a quilted black nylon lining with leather panels under the arms.
Very good overall condition.
